The purpose of this study was to set up the ideal curriculum in the area of speech and drama for the University of Utopia. Robert Maynard Hutchins' book, "The University of Utopia," was the basic criteria for evaluating what should be the course structure for the ideal curriculum.
The entire course offerings of speech and drama departments from four California institutions of higher learning were used for curriculum comparison in this study.
