The objectives of this project are to carry out and develop the techniques of gravity surveying by their application to the Redlands area.
The project was to conduct a gravity study of the Redlands area using a Worden gravity meter. I planned a number of parallel and intersecting traverses consisting of gravity readings at selected locations. These were then interpolated by using a series of corrections into what is known as the reduced gravity reading for each station.
