American history has never been kind to its losers. Perhaps the single greatest loser in that history has been the group called the Antifederalists. The Antifederalists opposed ratification of the American Constitution in the debate over the nation's founding. Since that time, the Antifederalists have generally been ignored, and even when considered have usually been looked upon as parochial and limited in viewpoint and principle. This project will attempt to resurrect the Antifederalists from an undeserved grave, within the confines of which they have spent much of their history.
