This project was conducted in response to encroaching urbanization around the Crafton Hills with the premise that increasing pressure for development and more intensive land use practices are rapidly growing as the surrounding cities and communities expand. In short, the purpose of this project is to provide the Crafton Hills Open Space Conservancy (Conservancy) an information database and analyses that may be used in guiding decisions about potential land use practices and their effects on the natural environment of the Crafton Hills Open Space Area (Crafton Hills OSA).
It is the intent of the Author to present the Conservancy with the following information in hopes that it will guide future decisions about land use practices.
