This thesis is about Mrs. Patrick Campbell; artist and woman. Mrs. Pat was one of the theatre's greatest actresses. She was a great woman, known for her beauty and selfless spirit. She was concerned with people and their personal suffering...she was involved with life and loved life.
This is a personal research essay and concentrates on the character of Mrs. Campbell as she was in real life and as she existed in the play Dear Liar, by Jerome Kilty. It includes my acting approach to her character.
