Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to discover from which direction the sediments and rocks that make up the San Timoteo Badlands came.
Data and General Procedure: The investigation consisted of two parts: first, field investigations which included measuring current structures and taking samples; and second, laboratory investigation which included size analysis, major mineral analysis and roundness/angularity analysis. For all procedures to these analysis see the appendix. The project was based on mapping done in the Spring of 1967 for Geology 192.
