Reflection Corrections to the Absolute Intensity of the Nu11 Benzene Fundamental

A new technique is developed for measuring the absolute intensity of solid thin films. This method is applied to the V11 band of benzene. It is found that negotiating reflectance losses can cause a 25% error in the value of the absolute intensity of this band.
