The Nature of Reality and the "Reality" of Nature

This thesis represents an attempt to investigate the nature of reality through literary and dramatic mimesis (artistic representation) and biological mimicry (when one organism looks, feels, smells, tastes or sounds like another, thereby gaining some sort of advantage) through an interdisciplinary lens in order to come to some consensus as to whether the two disciplines can speak to each other. I am playing with the possibility of writing a thesis in which two disciplines (literature and biology) often thought to be antagonistic, come to some sort of common ground.
